iZettle is payments made easy.
The first iZettle service was launched in Sweden in 2011 and is now available to individuals and small businesses across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, The United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Mexico and Brazil. Audience, Visitor and Customer Reassurance All traffic is logged and supervised to detect any unusual or suspicious activity, which means that as the iZettle system grows and develops, so do the security processes. In other words, iZettle is secure and becomes more so by the minute. (extracted from izettle.com) My little plug in to mobile gadget is often viewed with suspicion but as I know the process and the security reassurances iZettle have in place. Talking this through with the customer is vital if they are uncertain. Alternatively go for the Chip and Pin bluetooth device. There is no fixed fee for iZettle and just a one off payment for the device. For more information on how to take payments take a look at iZettle's help guidelines Mill Media Campaign with iZettle Affiliate Link After a recent visit to Maud Foster Mill in Boston and Sibsey Traders Mill I picked up a leaflet containing all the Wind and Water Mills in the Midland Counties open to the public in 2013. Whilst at Sibsey in the middle of rural Lincolnshire the tea room didn't have the facility to take card payments. I had the idea of making a little video to share one of my favourite social technology tools iZettle with them in the hope that 1, they may find it useful and give it a go and sign up using my code and 2, they may check out PCM creative and engage me to work further with their attraction's social media and web presence. After reviewing all 60 entries in the leaflet and noting an email address for each, I hope to receive between 4 and 8 enquiries to work with me further and I have no expectation about the reception of the iZettle payment option. I'll be reporting on the progress of this campaign.
Industry Focused
As a business working with Arts, Culture and Heritage organisations I am aware of the financial constraints placed upon you. My exploration of Social Media and its associated technologies has led me to advise on how to get the most from digital at a price you can afford. So why email so many Mills? (there were 60 in the leaflet) With a collective of organisations who share a common heritage but with similar audience demands and expectation I work with groups to enable shared knowledge and best practice exchange, developing peer group networks and archives. There is no conflict of interest just a concentration of audience opportunities using your collective voices to amplify your offering via social media channels whilst making the most of social web technologies. Niche Media Collectives With 8 niche sector participants paying £75 a month each over 18 months I can develop a strategy to the value of £10,800 which includes a website and blog for each participant, social media profiles, training, mini conference socials and audience development workshops. Each member of the collective spends £1,350 over the 18 month period. Affiliate Link Love I keep my costs and overheads low therefore I can reflect this in my fees. That doesn't mean I'm cheap however. I use all of the social technology tools, services and platforms I advocate to my clients. Many of them like iZettle have affiliate programs rewarding existing users for introducing new users who adopt the platform. If I had £1 each time a friend, contact, client or colleague mentioned they are using a platform I recommended I'd not be rich, but when keeping costs and overheads low are within my primary business ethics these reward programs are mightily underused. Especially by me! Every penny counts.
I love to share
The code in the ticket above is a Friends code for iZettle. You get limited free transactions and after you complete 3 transactions I get £20. There is a fee for the little iZettle phone plugin or chip and pin device but well worth it. Thank You for reading. Please watch the video if you haven't already and if you'd like to talk to me further about how I can help you contact me. If you want to explore iZettle further be my guest but please... use my link! or make a note of the ticket code. 93G38D There is information about my consulting program "Monica" with a mini survey to get you started if you can't wait for my response.
